The wooden church located Oradea city was built between 1760-1762 in the village of Letca (Sălaj county), for the ten Greek Catholic families present in the community at that time. It served as a place of worship for the villagers until 1991, when it was moved to the campus of the University of Oradea and it became the chapel of the Faculty of Orthodox Theology and Church for the University in Oradea city. Following the move, the painting was no longer preserved, a new painting was done in 1993; and in 2016 the roof was entirely replaced. Indoor, the church is divided into three main spaces: narthex, nave and altar that are displayed one after the other from east to west, contrary to the canons of the Orthodox Church, i.e., the narthex located to the east and the apse of the altar to the west. With a height of 17 m, it is part of a rectangular base plan, with five-sided polygonal detached apse of the narthex, bell tower covered with shingles that continues with a round helmet. The porch is displayed on one side, the east side, acting as a shelter.
